LittySteps — Step Tracking for Pedometer Users
Effective Date: April 24, 2026
LittySteps is built by LittyLabz LLC. We believe your data is your business — and we designed LittySteps to keep it that way. This Privacy Policy explains what information LittySteps handles, where it goes, and what we do (and don't do) with it.
What We Collect
LittySteps stores the step count data you enter — that's step counts and their associated dates. That's it. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other personal information.
We do not require you to create an account or sign up for anything.
Where Your Data Is Stored
Your step data is stored locally on your device and synced through Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) service if you have iCloud enabled. This allows your data to stay in sync across your Apple devices.
We do not operate our own servers and your data is never sent to us. CloudKit uses anonymous identifiers tied to your iCloud account — we have no way to identify you or access your data.
Camera Usage
LittySteps lets you take a photo of your pedometer display so the app can read your step count using on-device text recognition (OCR). Photos are processed entirely on your device and are discarded immediately after the step count is read. We never store, upload, or transmit your photos.
Apple Health Integration
You may choose to sync your step data to Apple Health. This integration is entirely optional and write-only — LittySteps sends step data to Apple Health but does not read any data from it. You control this permission through your device's Health settings and can revoke it at any time.
Analytics and Tracking
LittySteps does not include any analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. We do not use third-party SDKs that collect data. We have no interest in tracking you.
Third-Party Data Sharing
We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties. Period.
Children's Privacy
Because LittySteps does not collect personal information from anyone, there is no special risk to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or any other age) because we do not collect personal data at all.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
