Welcome to TwoStepper, a movement-first habit app made by LittyLabz LLC. By downloading or using TwoStepper, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What TwoStepper Does

TwoStepper lets you set a daily step goal and lock the apps of your choosing — via Apple's Screen Time framework — until you reach that goal. It reads your step count from Apple Health and uses iOS Family Controls to block and unlock the apps you select. TwoStepper also includes Game Center leaderboards so users can voluntarily compete with each other on step counts.

TwoStepper is not a medical device, fitness coach, or healthcare service. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any disease, condition, or injury. Step counts, projections, statistics, charts, motivational copy, leaderboard rankings, and any other content presented in the app are for general informational and motivational purposes only and do not constitute medical, fitness, nutritional, or psychological advice.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning, changing, or intensifying any walking program or other physical activity, particularly if you are pregnant, have a pre-existing condition, are recovering from illness or injury, take medication, or have any concerns about your fitness to exercise. Do not rely on TwoStepper as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Physical Activity Disclaimer — You Walk at Your Own Risk

Walking and any related physical activity carries inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle strain, joint injury, falls, dehydration, cardiovascular events, encounters with traffic or hazards, and exposure to weather. You are solely responsible for your own health, safety, surroundings, and judgment while pursuing the step goals you set in TwoStepper. By using the app, you acknowledge that you participate in any walking, running, or physical activity entirely at your own risk. LittyLabz LLC is not responsible for any injury, illness, accident, property damage, or loss of any kind that may result from physical activity you undertake while using or in response to TwoStepper.

Leaderboards Are Voluntary — Compete at Your Own Risk

TwoStepper offers Game Center leaderboards that compare your step count against other users, including a public global pool and your Game Center friends. Participation is entirely voluntary, and you can disable Game Center at any time in your device's Settings.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Leaderboard rankings are not a measure of fitness, health, ability, worth, or accomplishment.
  • Competitive pressure to climb leaderboards must never lead you to walk beyond what your body, medical condition, or surroundings safely permit. Stop, rest, or quit at any time.
  • Step counts come from Apple Health and may include inaccuracies. Other users' step counts may be inaccurate, exaggerated, manipulated, or fraudulent.
  • You should never share your real name, location, address, or other personal information through Game Center handles, profiles, or any related feature.
  • Daily, weekly, and all-time boards reset on a schedule we set and may change without notice.
  • We reserve the right to remove suspected cheaters and to disable, reset, or remove any leaderboard at any time.

LittyLabz LLC is not liable for any harm — physical, emotional, social, or otherwise — arising from your participation in leaderboards or interactions with other users via Game Center.

Screen Time and App Blocking

TwoStepper uses Apple's Family Controls / Screen Time framework to apply restrictions to apps you select. We do not see or control which specific apps you choose — Apple's privacy-preserving tokens hide the actual selections from us. You acknowledge that:

  • iOS, Apple Health, and Family Controls can fail, delay, or behave inconsistently for reasons outside our control, including operating-system updates, low-power mode, background-execution limits, and device issues. TwoStepper does not guarantee that locked apps will always remain locked or that unlocked apps will always remain unlocked.
  • You must never rely on TwoStepper for safety-critical access restriction (e.g., for medical or emergency communication apps). If access to a particular app is critical, do not lock it with TwoStepper.
  • You are responsible for choosing which apps to lock and accepting any consequences of that choice, including missed messages, notifications, or other downstream effects.

Step Data Accuracy

TwoStepper relies on the step count reported by Apple Health, which is itself produced by your iPhone's motion sensors and any connected wearable. We do not control the accuracy of those measurements. Step counts may be over- or under-reported in some conditions. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of step data displayed in the app.

Subscriptions, In-App Purchases, and Refunds

TwoStepper offers auto-renewable subscriptions (Monthly and Yearly) and a one-time non-consumable In-App Purchase (Lifetime). Prices, subscription length, and renewal terms are displayed in the app at the point of purchase. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in your Apple ID Subscription settings on your device.

All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's billing and refund policies. We do not directly issue refunds; please contact Apple Support for any refund requests.

No Warranty

TwoStepper is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of bugs or that the app blocking, step tracking, leaderboards, or any other feature will operate as intended. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LittyLabz LLC disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall LittyLabz LLC, its members, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, health, fitness, mental well-being, or any other intangible loss, arising from or related to: (a) your use of or inability to use TwoStepper; (b) any walking, running, exercise, or other physical activity undertaken in connection with the app; (c) any decision or behavior influenced by step counts, projections, leaderboards, or any content shown in the app; (d) any failure, delay, malfunction, or unintended behavior of the app's locking, unlocking, step tracking, or leaderboard features; (e) the conduct of any other user, including via Game Center; or (f) any injury, illness, accident, or property damage of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of LittyLabz LLC for any and all claims arising from or related to TwoStepper shall not exceed the greater of (i) the total amount you paid LittyLabz LLC for the app in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (ii) five U.S. dollars (USD $5.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, the above limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LittyLabz LLC and its members, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of TwoStepper; (b) any physical activity you undertake while using or in response to the app; (c) your violation of these Terms of Use; or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

Your Responsibilities

You agree to use TwoStepper in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for the accuracy of any goals you set and for using your own judgment about your fitness and safety. You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse-engineer it, manipulate step counts or leaderboards, harass other users via Game Center, or use the app for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual Property

TwoStepper, including its design, code, graphics, branding, and content, is owned by LittyLabz LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works based on the app without our express written permission.

Eligibility

TwoStepper is rated 4+ on the App Store and may be downloaded by users of any age permitted by the App Store. However, the app involves physical activity and access to Apple's Screen Time framework, both of which require parental judgment for minors. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising minors' use of TwoStepper, including any physical activity, any leaderboard participation, and any in-app purchase.

Termination

We reserve the right to discontinue, modify, suspend, or terminate TwoStepper or any feature of it at any time, with or without notice, and with or without liability. Your right to use the app ends automatically if you violate these Terms or if the app is discontinued.

Apple's Terms

TwoStepper is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's terms shall govern to the extent of that conflict. You acknowledge that Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and has the right to enforce them against you.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Texas.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be modified or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated terms on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of TwoStepper after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
